Water problems on the home front!

I really can't escape these water and sanitation discussions.  Not only did I spend the greater part of the day working on our water prop to a foundation - I get home after my sweaty yoga class to no water! Of course there was no-one around to report it to.  I don't know why but after around 45 mins it miraculously returned!  Clean at last!

Today was beginning of week 3 in the office. This will be my first full week in the office  – every other week has involved a field trip.  I’m very excited about Franks visit – he arrives Friday night, but between now and then there is a lot to do.  I need to have a good deal of work finished before the New Year break.  Once we’re back on 18 Apl I only have 2 weeks left of my assignment.

Spent the day finishing the human interest stories and starting the water & sanitation proposal.  Had lunch at Fresco with Bill and his partner Joyce, and Bindi.  Fresco is a great café owned by the Foreign Correspondent Club team  Nice to escape  - it’s a short tuk tuk ride from the office.  But I really must eat more local food!  My falafel pita roll is delicious, but middle eastern not Khmer.  It’s huge and I get a doggy bag so dinner is sorted too!

Did my first group yoga class after work.  Alison who did my private class on  the weekend was the instructor so I had some continuity there.  Standards were mixed – some incredibly bendy people and others more like me.  It all came a bit easier than yesterday.  Dinner at home and caught up on some Optus work.

Here are some more photos from last weeks field visit to Koh Kong province.  These ones did not make the make teh brochures I finished today.
